The center is located at the confluence of the Madre de Dios and Rio de las Piedras rivers, in an area known for its exceptionally well-preserved natural environment. Despite being surrounded by the vast Amazon rainforest, the location remains within reach of Puerto Maldonado, offering a rare balance between accessibility and immersion in nature.

Along the Rio de las Piedras River, one of the most remote areas of the Peruvian Amazon, uncontacted indigenous groups still live today. Among them are the Mashco Piro, one of the largest known uncontacted indigenous peoples in Peru. They continue to live according to their traditional ways in the Amazonian wild.

The presence of these communities reflects the importance of protecting this unique region, where ancient cultures, diverse ecosystems, and some of the last untouched areas of the Amazon continue to exist side by side.

Victory Healing Center is currently undergoing reconstruction, which is almost complete.
